NordMedia Network
NordMedia Network is a digital platform for media researchers operated by Nordicom and the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. The platform is as a knowledge resource that connects Nordic media researchers from different disciplines and makes Nordic media research and accessible.
In addition to a searchable database of media and communication researchers, NordMedia Network also provides news, vacant positions, and Calls for papers within the field of Nordic media and communication research.
Join the network
Create a profile on NordMedia network to make yourself and your research more visible and accessible to other researchers as well as journalists and others outside of academia who are seeking media experts. When you have created a profile, others will be able to find it in the freely available researcher database.

The NordMedia conference
Every two years, Nordicom co-organises the media research conference NordMedia together with the national research associations in the Nordic countries. NordMedia has been organised since 1973, and the five Nordic countries alternate hosting, so each country hosts the conference every ten years.
The conference contains plenary sessions, but the majority of the time is devoted to working in various divisions and working groups. The conference language is English.
